The Sound of Music..

Just now watched Singing in the Rain. I guess this was the twentieth time I saw it. I love musicals. The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady and Singing in the Rain top the list. There is something that makes me watch these movies again and again. I was gifted the CD of ‘The Sound of Music’ by my friend when I was in the first year of engineering. The same year I bought a computer and for few months I used to watch this movie almost everyday. I watch these movies only to believe music creates order out of chaos. Whenever we are in the audible range of music; it’s sway is persistently playing on us. Speeding or slowing, regularizing or irregularizing our heartbeats; soothing or grating our anxieties. Ignoring this power is at our peril..
