eclogue..

Whatever you think of me
Is not what I am

What I know of myself
Is not what I am

I am
an outsider settled in me
in a formless form.

What is that where
death comes from and life goes to

is it beyond all the sources of light
or somewhere
beside the blue path of the sky

may be
it is nowhere
or it is always here
by my wayside
ready to separate me from me.

Through
That blue stitch of infinity

the abstract is
revealed to human

the way it looks
is not always the way
it looks.

Dusk deepened
and
mist was formed

a soft and purple mist
like a vaporous amethyst

like a face
whitened in the mist
the dawn rose

variegated sunlight
seeped through the dense trees

not clear
if there was more brightness in sun
or more purpleness in mist

eventually they commingled
to form
a purple haze.

pena..

To earn a fortune
you go on
removing obstacles from your life

Only
to remove obstacles from your life
is what is written in your fortune.

Walking on the
shore of grief

man becomes
the shadow of man

despite the light of life.

Birds in the sky
moon in the sky
stars in the sky

most enchanting
of them all
is the strech of nothingness in the sky.

Darkness deepens

across the vast silence of the sky
one could hear
the twinkling of stars

in its vain and desperate
attempt to describe
what the sun is
the night has scribbled all over
the universe

I began to get dissolved
as I see myself
as part of that endless blue.

Lost in a desert..

In a desert I am left all alone
And directions to flee are unknown

I lost my friends I dont have a map
All I am left with is little sap

There is blazing heat all around
I could hear that agonal sound

Tongue is dry and so is the face
I am the only one running this race

Burning feet in the scorching heat
Had to bear all that beat

Feet are jammed, don't want to move
Eyes desperately searching for a grove

Am feeble, can faint any moment
Oh God why me for this torment?

Looks like there is an oasis
But no water..I am about to perish

Running behind that aloof mirage
I only possess a reprobate visage

Would I be able to cross this sea of sand
Cry for help but no helping hand

I keep going for another mile
With no hope I rest for a while

Who said in two-third of earth, water lies
When only sign of it I see is in my eyes

I can feel all my life in my psyche
Heard it happens when death is to strike

The sun is about to set and so is my life
I am distressed but repose is rife

It's dusk and my bed is sand dunes
Listening to the lullaby of windy tunes

Might be the last sleep.. the eternal one
I thank God for everything, living was fun

Lost in these thoughts embraces me sleep
Though famished, tired it was deep

The morning sunlight makes me awake
I am still alive for what sake?

Gosh that was a dreadful nightmare
But it has taught me and I am aware

I'll value dear life and won't complain
Will smile always even if in pain.

vida..

Visited temples to find it
no sign of it there

sought after in churches
and synagogues
no sign of it there

searched in mosques
no sign of it there

am still looking
for it..
'the inner peace'.

Different phases of life are nothing
but stations

you take a way
or the
other
to reach
the destination you want to

In the beginning and end of
each phase of life
you
decide
to either be in or out of something

like
you are either inside or outside the train
when it's entering and leaving the station.

Why repent
for
a wrong decision

you can take another to
rectify that

if a way leads to nowhere
a turn does.

the lonely star

The only star in the sky
last evening
and
a melancholy lass
with a bottle in her hand
half filled
half empty
much alike her life

the star asked
do you ever get lonely
and
do you wonder if I am lonely.

From nowhere
someone seems to be calling me
even when i am all alone
in a deserted place

a look at the mirror
alleviates me
at least I know someone.

Few miles away..

I am not like the drops of rain
which get withered on hitting the earth

neither the ripples in serene Superior
which have viscocity but no velocity

and not the whirls in Ganges either
which only have agility
but can't go against the flow

I am like waves in the Pacific
which hit the shore more ferociously
everytime
they come back.
_______________________________________________

Just few miles from destination
after a long and tiring journey

need to take a stop
as it's too dark

joy of having completed this far
and agony of waiting to reach the destination
only tomorrow and not today.
_______________________________________________

I am exhausted after day's work

there is clumsiness in my walk
stumble in my talk

sleeplessness in my eyes
tiredness on my face

yet i feel excited
as the efforts are going to change the course
and the pain is worth it anytime.

Sometimes I wonder how small the life
is
to do all i want to before i depart

and sometimes it's like counting my days on earth
in a hurry to get this departure re-scheduled.

And here comes the Family Guy..

Whew.. finally got hold of two Family Guy DVDs. Have been missing this serial since I left Folsom. The fat guy in pic, the protagonist Peter Griffin is a Catholic with heavy cowboy accent. The serial revolves around his adventures.
The lady is his wife Lois, a homemaker and from a very wealthy family. Griffin family has three kids but the show-stealer is the youngest one, Stewie. The family has an intellectual talking dog, Brian Griffin, who keeps showing his romantic interest in Lois. A diabolically evil infant Stewie Griffin along with doggie Brian does wonders. Stewie speaks eloquently, and has cruel ambitions and wishes of Lois's death. Even in this pic he looks so menacing. Brian is the only family member who really understands Stewie, instead of treating him like a kid. Brian drinks martinis, drives, watches TV and can talk more intelligently than Peter, the Griffin family considers him just a pet.
