pena..

To earn a fortune
you go on
removing obstacles from your life

Only
to remove obstacles from your life
is what is written in your fortune.

stars in the sky

most enchanting
of them all
is the strech of nothingness in the sky.

Darkness deepens

across the vast silence of the sky
one could hear
the twinkling of stars

in its vain and desperate
attempt to describe
what the sun is
the night has scribbled all over
the universe

I began to get dissolved
as I see myself
as part of that endless blue.

The night is not alone in its folly.
Do we not, in our over- enthusiastic attempts to define the wonders of life, cease to appreciate its beauty. And time trudges on-stops for no one, and in the end many of us find that we never realized (despite all the numbers and figures) what is was all about. In our search for enlightenment, we surge towards darkness.

Would not I rather wish upon the star in the sky
Than measure its distance from my eye?

Do we not, in our over- enthusiastic need to define the wonders of life, overlook and at times thwarp their beauty? Time trudges on-stopping for no one, and in the end we realize (despite all the facts & figures), we hadn't quite figured out what it was all about.
